Brigitte Grade was born in Heist-Op-Den Berg in Belgium on December 31, 1959. Her parents were independent entrepreneurs. Brigitte Grade graduated as a graphic designer in 1981 at the Art School in Antwerp. A year later she obtained her teaching certificate in Mechelen. For a number of years she taught drawing and painting at various schools, including the academy of Heist-Op-Den Berg, and the teacher education college at Groep T Leuven. In 1984 her daughter Esther was born. Brigitte was active for a few years as artistic director in an advertising agency attached to a printing company. She then worked for seven years as a medical representative for Allergan pharmaceuticals. In 1992 she started with a variety of knowledge as an independent artist. She traveled around the world to exhibit and sell her artwork. She was invited in Vieste to make 5 artworks for the local museum. In Belgium she is famous as the eye artist. She has had many individual and group exhibitions with renowned artists. At the time of her complete breakthrough in the art world, Powertex crossed her life. This caused a total rotation. In 2006 she met the man of her life and married Paul Vens on October 13, 2008. Brigitte has been creative from the day of her birth. As a small child she was fascinated by drawing and painting all day long. During her teens she attended evening school painting in Heist-Op-Den-Berg. Nowadays she is further developing Powertex internationally. She designs models and is followed worldwide. She is constantly looking for new techniques, materials, basis and products for Powertex. Brigitte provides training worldwide, writes articles for art and hobby magazines, writes books and makes models. She has truly become a trendsetter in her industry. She gives a lot of people the chance to develop their creativity and to awaken the sleeping artist in them. Thanks and congratulations for her designs are sent from all over the world.
