Powercolor and Colortricx can both be used to color Powertex Transparent. Dissolve the pigment in a little warm water and add it to Powertex to make your favorite color. Do you like Pastel shades? Then use Powertex White as base color and add the Powercolor of your choice. Did you know that you can turn any Powercolor into a metallic by simply adding Colortricx Pearl.
After drying overnight, your Powertex artwork is ready for coloring. You can speed up the drying time with a hairdryer or another heat source. Then you can even dry brush your artwork after a few minutes.
Tip: Protect your workspace with plastic
Use a flat wide brush with some Easy Varnish and mix with some Colortricx orPowercolor. Your paint is ready. Add more Powercolor if the color needs to be more intense or less runny. Add varnish if the paint is too dry.

Keep your brush flat and wipe off the excess color of both sides, on a piece of cloth or paper towel.
Brush with an almost dry brush over your work. To catch the light, start with the darkest color and finish with the lightest color.
Give faces a more natural bronze effect by mixing a little Powertex Bronze with Colortricx bronze gold (0104). Mix well, wipe brush off on kitchen paper and dry brush the plaster head.
Catch extra light and create more depth by brushing again the highest parts with Easy Varnish and Colortricx 0103 Clear gold or 0104 Bronze gold
