FOLLOW THESE STEPS FOR OPTIMUM RESULT:
Use Powertex in a ratio of 1 to 4. This means, choose a small or large measuring cup, depending on the volume you need. Then measure 3 parts of powder, 1 part of Powertex and a small part of water. Stir this well with a spatula to a homogeneous mass. The mixture should not be too fluid to use with a spatula. Spread out a primer layer of Powertex on your canvas or surface with a large spatula and let dry. Apply the prepared paste to the desired thickness with a palette knife. Spray a small amount of water on top and let dry until cracked. The thicker the paste, the larger the cracking. When you like a lot of color, you can immediately spray Bister or Liquid Power on top of it. Let dry until it cracks. After drying, wash off the excess and fill the cracks with a pipette filled with your favorite color Bister or Liquid Power. Finish the artwork with acrylic paint, Powerwax, Powertex and apply a layer of varnish.
